From a young age I wanted to learn how to create something on the Internet. When I was 13 years old, I pestered my mother to buy me a book on HTML. That Christmas, I read the 1,000+ page book front to back 3 times and didn’t know what to do with my new knowledge.
The following year I built my first website (which fit on a floppy disk) about the Sydney 2000 Olympics for my sister’s university assignment. From there, I was hooked.
I helped start my family’s business in 2001 and built their website. Practicing everything I had learned, I doubled website traffic for 4 consecutive years between 2005 and 2009. I continued my journey expanding my knowledge of the mechanics of the Internet and decided to go and work for a boutique digital agency with a role focusing on digital marketing strategy and online marketing campaign management focused on driving traffic with a strong conversion rate across all online channels.
Specialising in SaaS applications and their own custom-built content management system; we were focused on to bridging the gap between print advertising and online advertising, building an accessible, affordable and easy to use platform for small businesses to make their first steps towards using digital channels to grow their business.
That is when I met two incredibly driven online entrepreneurs, Fred Schebesta and Frank Restuccia. Together at finder we’re focused on disrupting the online comparison market in Australia.
At finder I work with such an incredible team of talented digital marketing professionals who are hungry to improve financial literacy in Australia and help Aussies make more informed decisions.
I am tenaciously working towards this goal and work everyday towards fostering a culture and utopia for the sharpest people to be challenged to reach and exceed their potential.
